		My loving father Sarath Goonawardena. He represented the Sri Lanka Parliament as a Member of Parliament for six consecutive years. He was also a Businessman in Hikkaduwa. Unfortunately, he passed away in May 2003.

		My loving Mom Prema Alahakoon. She is the one taking care of our family.

		My Elder Brother Sidath Charuka and My Youngest Brother Surath Ruwan. Sidath was graduated with B.Sc in Colombo University, Sri-Lanka and he is the Managing Director of Hotel Francis, Hikkaduwa. He was studying Mahinda College and Carey College in Sri Lanka. My Youngest Brother Surath is still studying in Mahinda College.

		I graduated with Diploma of Information Technology from Perth Institute of Business and Technology-Edith Cowan University in Perth, Australia in November 1999.

		I graduated with Associate of Applied Science: Programming Sequence (A.A.S) from The College of Staten Island-City University of New York in January 2003.


		I was awarded CSI Presidential Scholarship in 2001. Malith and Kamila were my invited guests. I, Malith and Kamila were studying together in Math Section in Ananda College, Sri-Lanka. Now in New York. What a small World this is......


		I sailed US Navy Yacht while I was attending the 42nd Naval Academy Foreign Affairs Conference in Annapolis, Maryland, USA. I was the sole representative from the College of Staten Island, sole International delegate from Sri-Lanka and the only Metro International participant at the roundtable " State Sponsored and Independent Terrorism" in NAFAC 2002.

		Graduation Ceremony in Shanghai University in Shanghai, China. This is the university which I did my Study-Abroad Program in January 2002. The Study Abroad Program coordinated by City University of New York and Shanghai University in China. I was awarded CUNY STOCS SCHOLARSHIP for this program. I followed the subjects Basics of Mandarin Language and Cultural, Economic, Administrative and Geographical studies in China by spending five weeks in Winter 2002.

		Prof. Martin Bough was presented the gift certificate at the Prize Giving Ceremony of The First Annual Photo Contest and Exhibition which was organized by International Center in CSI in December 2002. I was awarded the Grand Prize for one of my photograph that was taken in Hang Zhou, Shanghai in China. Its theme was West Lake Cruise.

		I participated to the CSI student Leadership Institute three-day workshop at Nevele Grande Resort in May 2002. We all had fun.

		Ranga Tharanga 2003, June 10th 2003, At the Williamson Theatre at the College of Staten Island-Which was organized by Sri Lankan Buddhist Vihara and Sri Lankan Student Body in College of Staten Island. I also took a part to make this event successful.
